I'm looking to lose someone at an anime convention. Tips?

I'm going to an anime convention soon and intend on going to a certain panel that I'd rather not have my party joining me at. However, said party is hell-bent on following me to find out what I'm going to, and are willing to enlist the help of fellow con-goers to do so. I've already hatched a master plan to trump said comrades, but would like a few backup plans as insurance. Any tips?
