Sasuke killed Karin wtf?

I just saw the latest naruto shippuden episode. Sasuke actually killed Karin, his "friend"/comrade who helped save his *** in battle so many times? If that's true, he's entered true darkness.. there is no coming back from that IMO.What do you think?
